Aloha! I'm Ursula from GymX and Gold's Gym in Killeen, TX. I'm originally from Germany and my family immigrated to Hawaii when I was five. I was raised there, kindergarten through college, with a wonderful melting pot of cultures. Hawaii is heavily influenced by Pacific Rim nations including all of Polynesia, the South Pacific, and Asia. I grew up singing and dancing hula to Hawaiian songs, dancing Tahitian and even the Maori poi balls. I've always been drawn to martial arts and have studied a few forms including Judo/Jujitsu, boxing, and kickboxing. I still remember playing karate with the boys in elementary school. My dad used to box in Germany so we watched a lot of fights together when I was growing up. We also watched Black Belt theater almost every Sun with the cool old Kung Fu movies. Now I watch UFC and I'm fascinated with the growth of MMA in the US and around the world. I moved to Central Texas in 1994 and I love it here!!!

I really enjoy teaching BodyCombat, it's just my thing. It's so much fun and I like to put a lot of personality and energy into my class as well as taking the "fight" seriously. I'm very passionate about being an instructor and try to keep my class motivated to work out and continually challenge themselves to reach their fitness goals. I appreciate being a Les Mills instructor as I learn a lot and get to share my knowledge... best of both worlds! At home, I'm a mom of 3 (my children are my world) and we're very health conscious. We eat a lot of organic and all-natural foods to stay healthy. We are homeopathic meaning we use natural cures instead of pharmaceuticals. I also volunteer in my community in several different organizations. Getting a regular cardio workout that I enjoy definitely helps me keep up with my hectic life and energetic kiddos!

I am open to the idea of instructing in the Killeen/Temple, Georgetown/Round Rock/Austin or Waco areas. Contact me if you need a sub and want to see my instructor style.

Marcus	Hi Ursula, thanxs for your message. Jupp ist ganz schön warm hier, aber ich glaube ich bleibe mal beim Englisch, oder? Cool, u studie Judo. I did it for over 20years and 2DAN, but i had to cancel because of my job. Had in the last fights to many injuries, is bad getting old :-) You have nice pics on your profil. How old are your kids?
