Welp, yep it's official. I've left Gold's Gym and Amarillo. I've relocated to Denton Texas where I've accepted a position at North Lakes Recreation Center. In this position, I plan, promote, supervise, and implement fitness and wellness programs, as well as assist with citywide wellness programs. Oh yeah, and I'm the Group Fitness Manager too. Wow, yeah I know!!! This job allows me the opportunity to move up professionally within the fitness industry, something I've wanted for myself for a long time. Unfortunatly this opportunity didn't present itself for me in Amarillo where my heart is. In the five years I lived there I addopted quite a family. A mom - Sylvia, lots of brothers & sisters - Crystal, Teresa, Steph (don't have enough room to list all of you guys), cousins, friends, and neighbors* >;] I love each one of you, and I'll see you all whenever I visit.

I worked for Gold's Gym in Amarillo Texas as a Personal Trainer for five years. My Group Fitness Manager encouraged me from day one to expand my forum for educating our members by becoming a group fitness instructor. After two years of teaching Pilates and Toning classes, our club hosted a Bodystep Inital Training. I was hooked! The education & instruction I received was invaluable. A few months later our club hosted a Bodypump Inital Training, and I knew from the first second that this was the program for me. Last year I added RPM, Bodyattack, and Bodycombat.

Teaching Les Mills' programs has helped me connect to my class participants in a way I never understood before. When I get the new releases in the mail, I'm not only excited to get new choreography, but to learn from the educational section so I can coach & inspire my participants to better fitness & better lives.

hey there...long time not to hear from you. im sure you caught the word, but i passed my video review and am now with you as being officailly combat certified. you should see me on stage now. you cant stop me and im so animated. i love it. also we launched 39 last night and it was amazing. cage backdrop, dark atmosphere, fog machines and loud music. it was like a rock concert. brilliant. hope to hear from you soon and hope youre doing well. good luck with all your classes and perhaps ill take a trip to denton and teach a combat class with you. ;)
