Qualified To Teach

Hi LMI communtiy! My name is Anthony, Owner of Fitness Concepts Health Club in Gardner, MA. To say I'm passionate about group fitness would be an under statement. I've been in the fitness industry for 19 years and teaching group fitness for 16 years.

Over this time I've have seen many crazy fads and changes in this industry, but nothing has impacted the industry more than the Les Mills Group Fit Programs. In 1998 I was Group Fitness Manager of a struggling, instructor dependent program that was in serious trouble. BODYPUMP to the rescue! Myself and a team of 4 went through BODYPUMP initial training and launched Pump in Dec of 98'.

Within 6 months we turned around a failing program and quickly started looking for more LMI programs. After only two years we licensed 4 more programs and quickly became one of the Northeast's most successful clubs.

In 2002 I broke off on my own and started Fitness Concepts, centering around the LMI group fitness model. I have an incredibly passioniate team of instructors that share a common goal, deliver memorable fitness experiences everytime!

When I'm not at the club I'm outdoors running or biking. I've ran the Boston Marathon 5 times and compete in Adventure Racing. Nothing like strapping on the iPod packed with LMI music and take to the streets for a long run!

Fraser	hi anthony hows things. im moving to mass in september just looking to see how easy it is to get in to gyms to teach. are may gyms looking for good instructors? speek soon fraser

Michael	Dude, hook me up with some pictures from all those Tri's we have been doing. Great job this weekend. Maybe one of these days I can keep up with the big guy :-)
