Kia Ora and Aloha!
It has been over a year now since I completed my Jam and Combat certifications...and the journey just keeps getting better! The experiences I have with my teams and helping my club members to strive for more are the two things that motivate me to become a better instructor. I am truly a Les Mills addict and these programs have changed my body and my life!

As for the other part of my life, I am high school science and yearbook teacher. I love teaching earth science here on the Big Island of Hawaii because it allows me to get field experience with my students in the areas of geology, biology, and astronomy. When I am not in the gym, I'm usually at the beach or hiking our volcano.

Update from Kona:
Released the BC 37 and BJ 46! So fun, as always...the teams were on it and the members has a blast! RPM cert is coming this weekend and BodyFlow cert is next...thank goodness I am only taking the latter.... :-)

We had our 79th Birthday Party for Ruth, our most devoted Jammer! See my pictures...Ruth is absolutely amazing! She comes to every Jam class we have, and attends other dancing classes in Kona throughout the day...this lady is practically moving all day long! I hope that we all can aspire a be jamming at 79 years young...cheers Ruth!

We just completed our three-hour jamathon (yes, that is doing Jam for three hours straight....so awesome!)...and we actually did it one week before the launch. Our brains and bodies were aching a bit, but it was all worth it...

Hey Janine, thanks for taking me through my very first Flow class...don't know what took me so long to try it, but I LOVED it!!
So funny hearing you and Cara go from your Combat voice to your Flow voice. Thanks for helping me relax and stretch my RPM legs =)

Oh Sorry almost forgot, it's not J9 anymore huh?? It's "Master Trainer" now huh?? Or almost?? I hear you are gonna go for it with Jam, is that right?? Oh, I think you should do it! You'd be great! Good luck with it if you do go forward... I'll miss you though - cause you know you're gonna have to travel the world teaching all of us in it all your moves... I can totally see your name in the same lights as Dan's...
