UPDATE 11-04-08
We just landed in Blenham, in the Marlborough region (South Island). Today is election day in the US, but it is JOE's BIRTHDAY here in New Zealand!! Happy birthday baby!! :)
Day 2 of Filmings finished yesterday. RPM and STEP were top notch. Seeing the Step crew all together was such an amazing experience. It is a great release of rok star caliber. "FREE YOUR MIND AND THE REST WILL FOLLOW." It was so good to finally meet Sarah Robinson! I simply adore her!!
RPM - I just love Sara and Glen. They are so strong and yet so cute together :) Meg, from Australia, and Sara brought beauty to the hard core RPM class.
To all my new best friends (three brits, two yanks, an aussie, a brazilian, and a belgium walk into a bar...) --- Katy, James, Jamie, Daniel, Sergio, and Hannah. I hope to see you all again soon. While the states are not as beautiful as NZ, it is closer and cheaper!! Super Quarterly anyone? When I get back I will add all of you as friends and I WILL sign up for Facebook!! Air Jacks to you all!
Finally, Jackie and Philip Mills are perhaps the nicest and genuine people. They dedicated their valuable time to make sure international instructors felt welcomed and had a great time. And for that we thank you. Hope you enjoy the wine! :)

Day 1 of Filmings is done. Vive, Pump, Attack, and Jam were off the hook. Joe and I are struggling a little today, and by a little, I mean A LOT!!
Mysti and Susan Laney (Jam and Vive) were great! I was very excited to see US trainers up there. And...they will be at the Mid-Atlantic Quarterly. SWEEEEEET!!!
BP -- two Pink songs, a girl couldn't ask for anything more :) The bicep track kills...and Glen told us to add weight??? Crazy! The shoulder track was my favorite though. Definitely felt mediocrity leaving my body :)
All I can say about BA is WOW! Love love love tracks 4 and 9...I call dibs when we launch it! But beware of the pushup track. New innovations are usually painful. Grant and Giles ROCKED the stage with Lisa.
I really enjoyed BJ as well. Although I had to stop halfway through and just sit and watch, my body couldnt take anymore. I even bought my first Jam outfit for it. Will send pics so there is proof.
Body Step practice at 4:10 today, Im hoping my legs cooperate so I can attend the class.
Day 2 of Filmings is Monday. Cant wait for Step!!
On another note, Joe and I have spent way to much money in the Les Mills store and the Nike store. Blame the exhchange rate of 1 USD = 1.7 NZD :)

I’ve been TAGGED!
Here are the rules:
A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.
B. Each player lists 6 little-known facts/habits about themselves.
C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 6 people and posts their names, then goes to their profiles and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your profile.
1. I was born in Middletown, NY. Which is not UPSTATE NY. It is about an hour north of NYC. I always have to remind people that there is more the NY than the city and Long Island. I am currently the only one in my family to leave NY. Yep…call me a rebel ?
2. I have run two marathons (Marine Corps in 2004 and NYC in 2005). I trained for the Chicago marathon in 2006 but got a stress fracture and couldn’t run.
3. As mentioned in #1, I am from NY, but I am ALWAYS cold. I HATE to be cold. I carry a hoodie with me everywhere I go. I also carry a bottle of water around with me everywhere I go. I wonder if there is a connection……..
4. I prefer odd numbers over even numbers.
5. I am Italian but am not a fan of Italian food. I call myself a bad Italian.
6. I am a pack-a-day gum chewer. I tried to cut the habit several times but have been unsuccessful.
TAGGED:
Lindsey (my soon to be Body Step buddy), Darren (because he is an AMAZING instructor and is super cute), Joe (awww….because he is the HOTTEST thing EVER), Jessica (because she is as extroverted as me and will hopefully enjoy this), Eleanor (because she was a big help at the NOLA Super Quarterly and she can bring this game to Texas), Julianna (because she is a rockstar and drove up to Rockville to take the Attack Challenge)
******************************************************
Interested in an ATTACK Challenge? SO AM I. Just let me know when and I will plan it.
"With the magic beans....anything is possible" What are these magic beans I speak of? Jelly Belly Sport Beans. They taste sooo good when you are intensely working out.

If it weren't for my real job at the US Department of Labor, I would totally be at the gym all day. So, while I would prefer to be at the gym, I guess the real job keeps me from being injured ALL the time. Those that know me, know Im pretty injury prone.
I have been a Les Mills instructor since July 2006. Prior to that I was a treadmill snob and didn't enter into the GGX rooms for group fitness classes. Then I started taking Body Pump and became addicted. So when the opportunity came to take the training class, I was eager to participate. I love all the classes, even though I am much better at some than others (evidenced in my showings at Body Jam launches), but I will take any class whenever I can. I guess you can say, I LOVE to.....
"TURN IT UP!"
