RPM™

I guess it is time to fill this out....
I just got out of my RPM training. The weekend was a blast. Tons of hard work, tons of water, tons of information, and the best part..... tons of smiles and laughter!! This was the first training for me and it was inspiring. I want to say congrats to all my fellow instructors and thanks for the great time.

You know you're a true RPM'er when:

-You special order pants and shorts to fit your legs, but you can buy shirts off the rack.

- Your lung capacity is so large, you're always asked to blow up all of the balloons for each new launch.

- All your clothes are all in shades of blue, black and white.

- After a week of classes, you've done two loads of laundry just for your RPM clothes and towels.

- Everyone in class knows you by your first name.

- You can adjust your seat and handlebars without reading the numbers.

- You know every time the instructor skips a recovery.

- You visit the LM RPM forum more than twice a day.

- What you spend on bike shoes will buy the average person 4 pairs of sneakers.

- More than 3 instructors see you in their class on a regular basis.

- 5 classes per week is cutting back.

- You somehow manage to fit the terms "racing position", "ride easy", and "pullback climb" into your daily conversation.

- Most of your workout clothing is made of Lycra or Spandex.

- You wonder why LM never puts your song suggestions into a future release. After all, you've made more than 100 of them.

- You imagine whether or not any song you hear could fit to either a pace or climb track. If it does, you post it to "Suggest a Song".

- When you're friends ask you to ride with them, you're 2 miles out before you realize no one's around you anymore.

- You know all the words to Paradise City, Painkiller, and Smells Like Teen Spirit.

- You know who the Warp Brothers are.

- When driving on the freeway, certain songs send you into "Arrow Race" position.

- Even though the RPM room is freezing when you walk in, you're asking for the fans by the end of Track 1.

Kristine	Yep, after Tuesday (once you're hired) you have to give up your bike to paying members. That's why I don't even bother going to vince's Tuesday class anymore. Which is why we couldn't team teach in there. It's good and bad. It sucks we don't get to ride, but it's good that the class gets packed.

Kristine	Yeah, launches would be fun! Yeah, i didn't bother going early, once you're an instructor, if bikes are full you HAVE to give yours up :( So it wouldnt' have mattered.

Kristine	Okay, how was the RPM launch at 78 on Saturday. I was going to come in there, but it didn't look like there were any free bikes.

Kristine	Great! We had talked about riding on Friday too, not sure what we'll do though. We rode Sunday in Bullis Park, 15 miles of some REALLY awesome hills :) It was fun. I hadn't been outdoor riding in 3 weeks, so I really needed it.

Kristine	No class friday morning, since it's the 4th. Next week though. So you're hired, awesome! Congrats! I haven't even looked at my RPM release since last Saturday. I've been too busy with pump and combat.

Jes	Hey Matt! All is well... I'm working on learning the new release for launch. I can't wait! I have a class on Tuesdays at 6 pm at Military and Zarzamora -- come join me? Thanks for checkin in and let me know when/where you'll be teaching... I'll be there. Jes :)

Kristine	I don't need help learning the songs, just thought you'd like to get some practice time in. I have one more team teaching with Kenny Thursday and then I'm done with that. I'll have my own soon, yay, I can't wait!
