Qualified To Teach

WOW~ Just got back from the Global Summit in Auckland..it was amazing....everything was so well organized...from the food...to the bus transfers...to the amazing MC...who had me in stitches on many occassions...the HAKA..it was all out of this world.
Can't wait for the next SUMMIT...bring it on....ONE TRIBE CHANGING THE WORLD!!!!

I was born in The Netherlands and studied dance at the Rotterdamse Dance Academie in Rotterdam. I was trained by well known Jazz Dancer/Chorepgrapher Ben Bergmans. In 1988 I moved with my family to Canada
and continued my dance training at the George Randolph Dance School in Toronto.
It was not until 2001 that I was introduced to the Fitness Industry.
My journey as a Group Exercise Instructor started with the Bodyflow and Bodystep training....and now 6 years later I have added on Bodycombat, Bodypump and Bodyjam.
I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of the Les Mills family of instructors. The passion and the love for the programs is amazing and it is infectious!!
The program directors are brilliantly creative and innovative.
Currently I am a Team Leader for the BODYJAM program at 5 Goodlife Fitness clubs in the Kitchener-Waterloo area and I am absolutely loving every minute off it. Our team is 9 instructors strong and each and everyone of them are extremely talented dancers and instructors.

This past July I trained one on one with Misty Tripoli and visited her in Los Angeles, California. She is an amazing and inspiring dancer and she is the creator of the Body Groove method. Check her out on www.mistytripoli.com Misty has inspired me to bring these classes to Goodlife Fitness clubs in Canada and I have called it FUSIONmovement.

This past August I was crowned "Fitness INstructor of the Year for 2006/2007" for the Goodlife Fitness clubs in Canada and I will be accompanying Patch (owner and founder of Goodlife), Mo Hagan (VP of Group Exercise) and our amazing Canadian National LMI training team to NEW ZEALAND for the Global summit February 10th-14th, 2008!!!!
This is a DREAM COME TRUE and I can't wait to meet all the amazing program directors and to be part of a filming. WOW!!!
Dreams do come true......so keep dreaming BIG!!!!!

I wish i could have been at the Global Summit it looked awesome,the classes were just so full of energy.I love all the releases this time but my fav is combat,pump,balance.
