Yesterday was the first ever Les Mills Convention in Israel. WHAT A BLAST! Can't wait to do that again.
Have uploaded some pictures.

Hey all - please vote for this song (as a Combat Cool Down, or BodyBalance song):

"I'm Alive, by Kenny Chesney sung with Dave Matthews"

My sister is a cancer survivor, and she does stretching to this song at the end of most of her workouts... check out the lyrics on Youtube... amazing.
Thank you.

OK - so I'm announcing to the whole world(or at least the Les Mills world) my goals for 2009 --
* I will conquer those !%#@&# triceps push-ups!
* I will achieve a decent roundhouse kick (without
breaking a hip in the process)!

By day I'm a mother of two (check out the pic) and a Technical Writer for a software company, but in the evenings I'm a LM/Gym junkie...
One of the mortals (a participant and not an instructor). I started attending BodyPump, BodyBalance, and BodyCombat classes in October 2007.
Up until December 2006 I was a total couch potato. Although I studied classical ballet and jazz from the age of 4, for about the last 20 years my fitness has been very 'sporadic' to say the least. I actually refer to my thirties as "the ten lost years".
In December 2006 I decided that enough was enough and joined the Go-Active gym here in Israel. I signed up for sessions with a personal trainer who literally transformed my life. Tal(taltul)was and is the best trainer that anyone could ask for! (and a great LM instructor!)

I've met a lot of great people on this site, and hope to meet more! So drop me a few words if you are stopping by....I'd love to hear from you! Thanks. :-)

lol on the shoulders. I love the e kick in this one as I am usually completely out of control by the end. I see other people giving me room and looking at me like I'm nuts.

You are right, a really strange warm up track, but it does get stuck in your head. And then you think, WTF am I doing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BC 41 is really a kick butt workout. I of course expecially like the Metallica track. Rock n roller that I am. I have not done a Mud Run in the snow.....yet. I have one coming up on Nov 15 hopefully. I want to enter but have not yet. I am entered in something called the dirty bird which is after Thanksgiving Day on Nov 29. This is a 15k trail run, and if there is snow, then its in the snow!! I know that chilly cheeks in Jan could be cold and snowy. I am going to have to get some cold weather running gear. I'm also looking at the possibility of some smaller triathlons next year.

Kia Kaha....the fight still rages!!!

Hi there,

I was just looking at your profile, and the photos you have of the launch on the top of the Azrielli Center look amazing! That must've been an awesome experience. Our gyms are all on ground level haha, without such spectacular views.

I've got some friends in Israel actually, but I only found out recently that Les Mills is also there :)

Cheers,
Wendy (Sydney)

Am still fitting BC in but am going to miss launch for the first time in 3 years. We are going to our camp in the mountains. Its time to winterize the house. I must admit that BC is a bit behind right now but I expect to pick it back up over the winter.

Take care,

Wayne

Oh man, staggered and probably down onthe sofa tomorrow. My pics on fb do not do it justice. We were in chest deep water for about 10-15min. Wet and soggy the whole way through. Did not help that I had a cold all week. I really don't know placing at this time. 10k time 1 hour 4 min. Rough muddy terrain with lots of hills and sand. Loads of fun. Another in 2 weeks if I want. You Liat and Yonaton take care.
