Quarterly Workshops

Quarterly workshops are essential for instructors’ technical upskilling and a key forum for inspiring expertise in the five key elements of instruction. While attendance is not compulsory, instructors are strongly encouraged to attend quarterlies whenever possible.

Group Fitness Management Seminars

Group Fitness Management seminars provide club owners and managers with a proven blueprint for achieving higher club profitability through group fitness. Les Mills are acknowledged world experts in running fitness clubs and readily share the expertise contained in the Les Mills Group Fitness Management (GFM) system.

GFM is an amazing way to see and start using the potential of Group Fitness in your facility -- a day to spend time working on your business versus in it. You’ll learn the “best of” practices from Les Mills and clubs around the world; you’ll dive into the 8 Keys to building a World Class Group Fitness Program, and you’ll see the power of using Group Fitness to drive membership retention and sales. If this is your first GFM or your fifth, you’ll undoubtedly leave with awesome ideas and simple steps to improve your team, your program and your business.

The Les Mills GFM system provides a comprehensive formula for building club profitability through Group Fitness and by focusing on the 8 Key Elements of Group Fitness Management, namely:

  1. Create a scorecard

  2. Maximize your timetable

  3. Recruit world class instructors (and keep them!)

  4. Organize great instructor training

  5. Develop the best studio you can afford

  6. Create a Group Fitness Marketing Plan

  7. Plan for Success

  8. Appoint, or be, a world class Group Fitness Manager

We’ve added great new tools to the GFM seminar including: new eClub resources; how to create an effective schedule based on best servicing member needs; how recruit, compensate, and promote team members based on performance; how to set accurate class targets and measure; how to “rank” your instructors & classes; and how to utilize launch and re-launch to reach membership sales targets – just to name a few. Finally, you’ll see the brand new Les Mills International step-by-step resource guide to creating an effective and meaningful club and GF program Vision, mission, values, and goals that will lead your team forward.

Bring your Owner, GM, GFM/GFD, Sales Manager, Training Manager, Membership reps and head instructors. Bring your questions, your needs, and your energy! The more people you have on your team working toward the common goal – the more your bottom line will change!

7.0 AFAA and 0.7 ACE CEC’s/CEU’s will be awarded for each GFM attendee.
