Hi my name is Lionel, i am 51 years young.I am divorce with 3 kids all now grown up(Marvin 22-Laura and Lorraine(twins 18).I was born in the West Indies on the cracking island of Barbados.Moved to England at the age of 12 where i spent most of my time growing up in the rough part of East London.At 21 trying to avoid a life of crime I decided to join the army.(Good decision)In June 1978 got posted to Germany, and have lived here since.While in the army thats when i became the sports fanatic i am today.I represented my Regiment(10 Regt RCT) at squash,cricket,rugby,badminton,tug of war but the biggest success came in the boxing ring(should have stuck to that one).
After 12 years service and dizzy heights of corporal i decided to leave while the going was good.After leaving the army i discovered cycling.Wow what a buzz.I now travel thousands of KMs each year around Germany. Highlight of my cycling carreer was cycling up the famous Alpe d'Heuz.15Kms from bottom to top.
In 2001 Dicoovered SPINNING even bigger buzz:Only regret not discovering it earlier.Within six months became a Johnny G Spinning Instructor.Fantastic CV workout and good prep over the winter for the outdoor season.I teach four classes a week, plus taking part in various spinning events around Germany.And that as they say is that.

Gary	Guten Abend my friend, I hope you are enjoying Germany. My father was stationed there when I was a boy and some of my fondest memories are of Germany and the surrounding countries. I am envious with you able to cycle the mountains. Down here in Southeast Louisiana, the most we have to challenge us is a gator or neutra or two on the bike path!! GRIN Have a wonderful day!! Gary

40-50 mph down hill - now that's sweet...... Sounds like the knee's doing it's job and keeping ya out of trouble.

Looking cool in the photo's hun, not bad for an old man hey!!!!!!!!!!!! I will spin with ya again some day, sooner rather than later I hope.
