Qualified To Teach

Profile

I have been teaching group exercise classes since 1997, and the Les Mills programs are by far my favorites! The music is awesome and the results are amazing! My kids beg me to put the music on in the car, and my daughter even knows many of the bodystep moves!

Bodypump and Bodystep ROCK!

Let's continue to turn it up!

Congrats, Dana! I knew you would be great. I taped in mid-September and just got a chance to send my DVD in yesterday. It's been crazy-busy at work and finding time to get to the post office was harder than it should have been! Regardless, it's in the mail now so I will definitely keep you in the loop.

Make sure to say congrats to Carrie too...she passed with distinction! I'm so excited for both of you :-)

Hi Dana
Thanks for your note. I actually hurt my shoulder the other week, so I had to take a week off. Too much Body Pump, swim training for the triathlon, and tennis. But, it feels better this week and I am teaching alone on Wednesday at Swift Creek so that is going to be fun. I haven't officially taped yet, Laura just suggested I tape a few classes because I was rushing a little. Watching the tape helped me slow down, so hopefully I am ready to do it for real. I am going to try to do my real tape this Thursday at Southside at 2:30pm. If you are free you should come. I hope my shoulder holds out.

How are you? How is the teaching going? Do you enjoy it? I heard you are hurt as well. If you need anyone to cover any classes or you want to team teach, let me know. I hope you are you doing and I hope to see you soon. Take care, Wendi

What are you doing teaching with a torn disc? That totallyl sounds like something I would do! I'm glad your taping went well. I taped on Thursday and althought it wasn't my best, I'm sending it in. Just to be done. I totally agree -it's a great feeling to get that over with.

Working on learning the new releases for next month and I'm getting a Pump class next month so I've been learning some older releases for that.

Hope all is well! Good to hear from you.

Hi Dana
I am so glad the tape looked good. It looked great in person! I did a practice taping today, and I am scared to watch it. I'll let you know when I tape, it will probably over the next week or two. I'll keep you posted. Take care, Wendi

Yes, that is my daughter, Lucy. It's an old picture; she's 18 months now!

I wanted to remind you that we are opening two new Gold's on Southside in January and February. If you are interested in picking up any classes, please let me know!

Thanks for thinking of me! Class on Sunday was awesome. I had a blast and totally should have taped. Oh well...next time, right?

I'm sure your taping rocked. If there's one thing I can offer advice on is how to force yourself into set stance--you know that was my weakness! Cue your participants on it like crazy, and you won't have a choice but to set up correctly too.

You're all over this one :-)
