Good to hear from you! Yeah the bird pose is a challenge for many, however if cued really well many do get it. It is important to make sure your butt is high and remains high, belly button sucked in tightly to your spine at all times then lieft one foot off the floor if you feel unsafte stay there otherwise try to lift the other foot and if possible bring your toes together hold. I wouldn't worry about not getting it I know a few instructors who can't manage it, you really need good core control to execute bird pose. Oh and your body weight has to be forward.
Good luck with it practice and it will happen I'm sure. Sounds as though you have recovered from your cold (?) as last time I spoke with you you weren't making it to the gym as often due to feeling off.

Sorry I hadn't written for a while things have been extremely hectic here, with parents, etc.
The balance track you want from BB40 is I'm Kissing You by Des'ree Hamstring back track? I think and BB41 not sure so many nice songs on that one. Track lists are available www.totallylesmills.com just click on tracklists.

How have things been with you?
Things have been a bit slow at the moment, with me getting through a few minor hiccups in the way of back & shoulder problems, thereby causing me to miss a few gym classes.
I have, however, been taking things a little slower & easier in Body Pump & Body Balance, but have been enjoying the added bonus of a Sunday morning Body Jam class, which gives me more of an incentive to keep working hard at my fitness.
Unfortunately, that's all the news I have at the moment, so keep yourself well & fit, and hope to hear from you soon.
