~~~~~LIVESTRONG UPDATE~~~~~
What a great ride! The Ragin' Roostas rode 28 strong in Austin while raising $34,000. We were part of 4000 participants that raised close to $3.2 million for the event. Thanks to everyone for you support and encouragement. Keep an eye on my profile or the RPM forums for the next LAF Challenge! Kia Kaha!
NOTE : One of our riders (RPM Trainer Kim Ames) went down during the event. She is in high spirits and recovering slowly but surely. Please keep her in your prayers and/or drop her a message to help her along.
Hey,
I'm signed up for RPM at the Quarterly here in Charlotte on Dec 13th. I signed up for all three...dont know if thats a good thing, or if they are all the same?? Will you be here for that one? Yah the Tri was awesome!! Had a blast and didn't go too crazy, but for sure my ride was the best, 10m in 29 mins. I am so excited for 41, its only getting better! My video is almost there, I did a trial run last week, now I'm ready to make it real! Talk soon, take care!
What up Marky Mark! I have been out getting my ride on - but I'm not sure if I'm going to have the time to train for a century before it gets too cold. Thanks for asking.... I'm so jealous of your big bike ride in TX - that is going to rock!!! Good for you. What else is going on?
Yeah I re post more for amusement now...the dude is as think as a brink wall...then calls me unfit and questions my core stability lol I'm still in shock from the fight...I was not expecting a KO like that...I hope this does not mean he's retiring ): But...I am very much looking forward to November's fight between Couture and Lesnar...that fight is going to rock!
Have a great day!
Hugs~
Hey dude! Long time no speak!
How is all the RPM trainer thig going?
Yep, LAF was amazing I had an awesome time in Philly! I managed the ride in 7 1/2 hours but could take 30 minutes off my time as I had an interesting incident of trying to rescue a guy with an open forearm fracture from over a sheer drop (he had misjudged his speed round a turn and flipped himself over the guard rail!) pretty impressive but wasn't so funny when I called an ambulance with no idea where I was - except for somewhere in Philadelphia!!!
Good times!
Howz all your racing going?
speak soon
:0)
