Hey Team,

I'm Rhiannon, 19 and from Alice Springs NT. I have been teaching Body Attack since I was 16 and Body Pump since I was 17.

Some of my earliest childhood memories are being left at the childcare room at the gym (my mum has always been a gym instructor). So I guess I was destined to eventually become one myself.

Dean Lightbody can to Alice in 2006 and I passed to instruct Attack. I had a great bunch of instructors around me who supported me on getting up on the stage. I shared an Attack class with my mum for two years and it was the BEST fun.

Unfortunately I have had to leave the nest and go to university. I now temporarily live in Bentley, Perth on campus at Curtin University. I am doing an undergraduate course in Social Science and hope to do a post grad in sexology.

I am currently working at Curtin Stadium teaching Body Pump (wishing Attack would come soon!)and teach at the YMCA of Central Australia on my visits back.

I enjoy Pina Colatas, tricep push-ups and gettin' caught in the rain so drop me a line if you do too!

    Hi Rhiannon Welcome to this site, was wondering when you'd join us. Been a cyber friend of your mum's for months now. Wow where do you get the time to teach classes and be in year 12, my eldest son's in Year 12 and is busy, busy, busy. Luckily he hates exercise, like your mum I been exercising for ever and dragged the kids along both stay clear of it both are boys. Good luck with your studies, hope to hear from you soon.
