Certified Body Pump Instructor

Try my best to attend as many Combat and Balance classes as possible and really need to get out my comfort zone and attend more Attack classes too.

Hi Stewart, yes I do agree with you that instructors should know there corey. I have two programs under my belt from Les Mills, I also teach alot of free lance stuff, step, tbs and yoga/pilities I do on occassion forget the corey either because I'm tired or we just changed the mix I have from 38 to current. We change our music every two weeks to keep it fresh for the members. But having taught since 2001 I still do a few boo boo's especially in step. But also in Pump. I like to think I know my stuff but it does happen. Yes agree with you instructors should know what there corey is but there are times when the brain just won't corporate thus mistakes will happen. I always appreciate when members and instructors go with us. And when they do I think to myself I would like to laucnh with her/him the next release rather I will never launch with this person. Not only being a instructor but also a team player makes for a excellent instructor. BTW you are lucky you were able to get the older releases. I value mine to much and spent alot of money I won't give mine to others. This way members get a varity of music from my husband and me. Happy Pumping!

Hi Mate. Hope all is well. I can just see the next Pump release having tracks 1-10 striaght from Geln's favourite album, otherwise known as Pink's greatest hits.

Hi Stuart, The weights are good. A heavier bar just makes a class easier. Best option is to pop in to Argos and take a look - cheers

Hey Buddy, Yeah - Jim Shields is your man. I'm honestly surprised that you (and others) had that experience with him. I'm not in the fitness industry either - other than being an Attack / Pump instructor although I am qualified to Level 2 like you - so I don't think he had any axe to grind there. I think most folk in Scotland have met Jim either at 1/4lys or module training and I've only heard consistantly good things about him. Anyway.... I'm glad you passed and hope you have plenty clasess now. I have lost my pump class due to one centre closing for refurb but should get one back soon. To be fair, I get a lot of Attack cover so I'm not too bothered. I won't be at the Pump 1/4ly this time round but I will be at Attack which is scheduled just before it. Hopefully bump in to you soon Steve

Good Luck, nerves and all im sure you be fine - particularly as you have participated in it for so long! as some one told me the best instructors usually come from being a participant in the first place! Let me no how you go cheers xx
