Profile

I taught high school for 9 years and now I'm back at uni doing my PhD. Because I've got nothing better to do, I thought I'd become a BodyStep instructor as well.

I've been doing BodyStep now for 5 years and becoming an instructor is the next level in my fitness 'journey'.

Why BodyStep? My current club doesn't offer BodyAttack and I prefer the weights room to BodyPump and BodyCombat doesn't raise my heart level enough. One day, I might take these classes on too.

No worries Harry! I'll let you in on a secret... www.totallylesmills.com. This site has track listings for every LM program release going back at least 10 years. You'll find it a heap of help in the future when looking for those obscure tracks! Hope everything's well up there in Brissy! I'm in Sydney at the moment and heading to Auckland on Friday for filmings! Step 80 is gonna rock! :D Chat soon! Patrick

Excellent, mate! (In print I can sound real Aussie-like.) We should receive our copies of 76 in a couple weeks. So if you plan it right, you can make your way over here for our launch. Be happy to team teach with you. Although probably not at 6 am, buddy. lol I'm always extra impressed with such dedicated instructors. It's still Tuesday evening here...time to go teach a dance class, then a little dancing afterwards. Have a good Wednesday.

Greetings Harry. See you online now. Thought I'd check and see how 76 is going. Have you launched yet? Or still in late night practice mode? I have 75 down finally. Yesterday was the first time I've taught it without a mistake. Always an occasion to note for me. lol

Harry, buddy, had to spend a little time let my mind figure out what you were explaining. lol Sounds like an interesting topic. I'm assuming (if I understand it correctly) that the inquiry based would increase the knowledge and interest of the middle school students. Don't feel obligated to write more, of course. You can save it for the dissertation. But if it helps to remind yourself why you're putting all those words onto paper (figuratively speaking, of course), then have at it. Or take a Step class to free your mind and the rest will follow as you walk this way to start all over to no stress. Don't have 76's song list yet.

Hi Harry, We just launched BS75 this past w/end. Like the time of day...we're so far behind you (although it's cool watching the Australian Open finals and knowing that we're watching what's going to happen tomorrow lol). Anyway, just wanted to say I appreciated your comments about BS75 from when you launched, and then the others who chimed in on the thread. I wasn't supposed to teach it for another several days now, but had to sub for an instructor, so did some real cramming before class. Laughed when I read you had put in the late/early time too before your first class of 75. Did have to consult the book before a couple tracks, because I simply went blank about what was next. The class was full of experienced participants, so they just had a good laugh, waited while I hit start over for that track, and then enjoyed it. What's the PhD concentration? And...are you enjoying it at this point? Bob

Hi Harry. Just responded to your question about DVD's and the I-pod so I thought I'd drop a few lines here too! Good luck with your PhD!!! If you're ever in NC, USA... come take my Combat class.... your heart rate will climb!!! I don't know if you've tried the newer ones or not, but Combat 36-38 were kickin'!!!!!!! We just launched 39, it's good, but I think we've had a few better! Love my Step though!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Take care!!!
