Gym junkie from way back when. Did Cert 3 and RPM training, but have never taught - realised I am far too shy to get up there on stage! Love RPM especially, and Body Balance and Pump and Combat.

Moving them out here .... what a saga! How much time do you have?! We tried to make it as simple as possible by hiring a company to do the majority of the work for us, but it still wound up being a monumental hassle. The amount of red-tape getting them in was extraordinary and they had to go to the vet before leaving to all be jabbed and checked over. Not to mention all the immigration paperwork we had to fill in. The actual move from Leicester to Adelaide wasn't too difficult and the company we hired moved them professionally. They had to go in "official" containers and be looked after by a vet on the flight over, but all that was taken care of. They were booked into the AQIS facility at Eastern Creek for quarantine, but again that was booked in advance for us. Fortunately, coming from a rabies-free country meant they only had to spend 30 days there rather than the 60 that applies to much of the world. Then we had to hire another company to do the final leg from Sydney to Adelaide, but that was simple by comparison to the international leg. Either way they don't seem to have fared too badly, and arrived in reasonable shape. Considering they came from the UK winter straight into the Aus summer, they seemed to acclimatise quite quickly. Now we're settled they appear happy and cope with the extremes of heat in summer. They just go all floppy and lie around on the tiled floor during the day and then roam at night. Probably much like yours.

I'm jealous now! But wouldn't give mine up for the world. In fact we are so attached to them that they came out to Aus with us from the UK ... at enormous expense. All three were rescue cats, so we didn't like the idea of them being given away a second time. They have definitely become family, as I'm sure yours have, but sometimes I think they only put up with us since we feed them. Our boy cat is a near perfect tuxedo and as soft as ... Given he was the runt of the litter and could sit in my hand when we first got him, he's now filled out very nicely. I'll have to take some more photos of them now we've got a new camera. Problem is they've never been very good at posing!
