How has the LES MILLS On Demand changed?

Navigation improvements

Before:
When you visited LES MILLS On Demand you were presented with navigation links that were irrelevant for working out on LES MILLS On Demand.

Now:
Now when you login to LES MILLS On Demand, you will find the simplified navigation makes it easier to access your workouts.

Improved video playback quality

Before:
You might have experienced buffering issues and may not have been able to view in high definition.

Now:
Reduced buffering issues providing a seamless workout experience.

Adjusts better to internet connections for better high definition viewing.

Offline viewing now supported by Android mobile devices and iOS devices

Before:
Offline viewing only supported by iOS devices

Now:
Offline viewing is available for both Android and iOS.

Offline viewing extended from 14 days to unlimited for active customers

Now:

If you mark workouts for offline viewing they will not expire at all and remain as part of your App storage.

It is only when you cancel your subscription that you will no longer be able to access marked workouts for offline viewing.

Marking your favorites across all devices

Before:
Only desktop users were able to mark their favorites.

Now:
You can add favorites to a playlist called “MY LIST”. This functionality is available across web, Android and iOS.

The old “favorites” functionality has become redundant, so if you have added workouts to your favorites, you will no longer have access to them. It’s a great opportunity to embrace the MY LIST functionality and create a fresh playlist of favorites.

New forums section on website only

Apple iPhone and iPad

These are the iOS versions that are supported for Apple iPhone and iPad

  • iPhone: 4 and up
  • iPad: iOS 7.0+

Please ensure your App is running the latest version of Les Mills On Demand. To update:

  1. Visit the App Store app.
  2. Select ‘Updates’ .
  3. Find 'Les Mills On Demand’ in the list of apps and select Update.

Apple TV

These are the generations that are supported for Apple TV

  • 2nd Generation and up (commonly referred to as Apple)

By default, the app should automatically be updated as soon as the new versions is released. If your Apple TV Automatic Update Apps is turned off, you can select any app in the App Store to check if an update is available and manually update there.

Android phone and tablet

These are the Android versions that are supported for Android phones and tablets

  • Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) and up

Please ensure your App is running the latest version of Les Mills On Demand. To update:

  1. Delete the LMOD app completely from your Android device.
  2. Open the Google Play Store app.
  3. Search for ‘Les Mills On Demand’ and install it.

Android TV

These are the generations and official TV’s that are supported for Android TV

  • 1st generation
  • 2nd generation (4K on Select Devices)

Please ensure your App is running the latest version of Les Mills On Demand. To update:

  1. Delete the LMOD app completely from your Android TV device.
  2. Open the Google Play Store app.
  3. Search for ‘Les Mills On Demand’ and install it.

Amazon Fire TV (not Kindle devices)

These are the device generations that are supported for Amazon Fire TV

  • 1st generation and 2nd generation
  • 3rd generation (4K) - please clarify

What does this means for you?

  • You are still be able to use your current version of LES MILLS On Demand on your Roku for now but new releases/workouts will not be uploaded to your app version.

A new version of the LES MILLS On Demand Fire TV app is coming within weeks and you’ll be able to get the latest workouts once again. When the new version is released, this is how you can update the app:

  1. Visit your Amazon App Store.
  2. From the Fire TV Stick home screen, scroll down to the “App” section.
  3. Scroll to the right until you find the LES MILLS On Demand app.
  4. Select the “Update” button or ff a popup appears, select “Update App Now”.

Kindle Fire

We’ve made some long-awaited and major changes to the new LES MILLS On Demand experience. This means we’ve moved to a new video platform provider, Vimeo.

What does this means for you?

  • You are still be able to use your current version of LES MILLS On Demand on your Kindle Fire device for now but new releases/workouts will not be uploaded to your app version.
  • Later this year, LES MILLS On Demand is no longer accessible on your device.

Our video partner is scheduled to release an update version of your App later this year.

Good news, LES MILLS On Demand is still supported by a wide range of other devices. Please search through the sections within this page to discover devices that are currently supported by the new exciting video platform.

Opera TV

We’ve made some long-awaited and major changes to the new LES MILLS On Demand experience. This means we’ve moved to a new video platform provider, Vimeo.

What does this means for you?

  • You are still be able to use your current version of LES MILLS On Demand on your Opera TV app for now but new releases/workouts will not be uploaded to your app version.
  • Later in the year, LES MILLS On Demand will no longer accessible via the Opera TV app.
  • You will still be able to access the LES MILLS On Demand website by using the browser app on your TV.

Playstation
