LMFC get kids in the UK active

Posted in Newsfeed

Kick off the New Year with a launch for charity. The Les Mills Fund for Children work to support many charities with the goal to make the planet a fitter and healthier place. So why not get involved?

It's that time again when you start thinking about your next launch event. By now we bet you're pretty clued up on how to make these events amazing! So why not make this one more authentic and engaging for your consumers than the last by making your next launch for charity?

The Les Mills Fund For Children (LMFC) work to support many charities and charitable projects with the goal to make the planet a fitter and healthier place. We raise vial funds to help children in the UK live a healthier lifestyle and are supported by Les Mills UK.

Manchester Lifestyle Fitness recently raised £100 for the LMFC during a recent launch event at its city centre health club. Members and guests came together for an energetic event of back to back Les Mills classes in a bid to fundraise to support children’s charities and good causes across the UK via LMFC.

Neil Smith Studio Manager at Lifestyle Fitness comments. “As a Les Mills instructor I strongly believe that it is our job to help fight for a fitter planet and this starts at a grass root level, so what better way to make a difference than support Les Mills Fund for Children. Participants had the opportunity to try new programmes and we just asked for a small donation, which went to LMFC. The team educated participants on day about LMFC and why inactivity in children is such an important issue to address; this ensured everyone was invested in the cause.”

It doesn't have to be hard and the money raised will go to helping projects across the UK which support children to lead happier and healthier lives. Neil and the amazing team at Lifestyle fitness are looking forward to holding more charity events for the LMFC and getting one step closer to getting children more active across the UK.
