It’s even easier if you start with something simple like an indoor cycling class. You control the intensity of the workout by simply turning a resistance dial up or down. The beautiful thing about this type of workout is it burns tons of calories and is very low impact.
Instructors will help you set up the stationary bike for you. They will encourage you through the workout and call out cues to change intensity. It’s literally easier than riding a bike.
If it’s your first time, don’t be afraid to call it a day after three or four songs. Building up fitness is a journey so don’t blow yourself to pieces on day one.
All you need to bring is a water bottle and a towel. Pants that fit are a good idea but you don’t need special shoes or lycra to get started. Your comfort is the number one priority.
