She impressed the jury with magical BODYBALANCE moments during her performance in the Grand Finale of LES MILLS SUPERSTAR 2026. For the first time ever, BODYBALANCE is the winning program, and we are so excited to get to know the BODYBALANCE queen, Engla, even more.
Tell us, how does it feel to win LES MILLS SUPERSTAR 2026?
- It honestly feels unreal. I don’t think it has really hit me yet. Just being on that stage alongside so many inspiring instructors was already a win and to also take home the victory feels incredible. I feel very proud, grateful, and motivated for the future.
What has been the most challenging for you during LES MILLS SUPERSTAR?
- The most challenging part has probably been to trust myself and my chosen concept, BODYBALANCE. In an environment filled with so much energy and strong performances, I’ve sometimes felt pressure to do “more” to level up. But I realized that my strength is in my presence, my connection, and my ability to help people connect with themselves. BODYBALANCE creates an incredible space for emotions, and that’s something I’m very proud to been able to express.
What has been the best part of LES MILLS SUPERSTAR?
- The best part has been meeting so many amazing people from different countries who share the same passion for group fitness as I do. The energy throughout the entire weekend was absolutely incredible! I’ve developed so much as an instructor during this journey, and a big part of it, is thanks to them.

Tell us about your instructor journey, how did you become an instructor, and what has brought you this far?
- My journey started at Visby Dance & Fitness Center, where I began dancing at the age of 3 and instantly fell in love with the joy of music and movement. Under the same roof, there were also various group fitness classes, and I quickly realized they were a fantastic complement to dance.
Trying BODYJAM at 14 was such a freeing experience compared to what I had done before, I absolutely loved it. That’s where it all began. I was later asked to substitute for circuit training classes, completed my Spinning training, and even helped develop our own training concepts before moving to Växjö.
After the move, I wanted to continue teaching group fitness, which led me to Nordic Wellness and BODYBALANCE. I completed my Initial Training in November 2024, and since then, everything has continued in a positive direction.
I truly love being an instructor, it’s the best job you could possibly have!
What do you do when you’re not teaching classes?
- In addition to being an instructor, I’m currently in my final year of a bachelor’s degree in digital design. I love everything creative! I’m also a dancer, choreographer, and coach, teaching students who compete at both national and international levels in styles such as Jazz, Disco, Contemporary, and Slow. This autumn, I’ve been accepted into a one-year dance program at House of Shapes in Stockholm.
What other LES MILLS programs do you teach?
- I’m a BODYCOMBAT instructor, and I love it!
What would you say to someone thinking about becoming an instructor or adding a new program?
- Go for it! You don’t have to be the most outgoing, confident, or socialperson to get started. The most important thing isn’t knowing the most or being the best, it’s believing in group fitness, wanting to inspire others, and love moving to music. The rest will come with time.
And remember, there’s a program for everyone! That’s what makes Les Mills so special, the variety of training concepts they offer means there’s something for you.
