Les Mills Q4 ’26 Release Highlights: What's New

19.10.2026

Instructor Insights

From the new “Push Play and Go” format in BODYSTEP™ to anti-rotation challenges in LES MILLS SHAPES™, a punishing Power Finisher in LES MILLS SPRINT™, and an emotionally charged BODYBALANCE™ – discover the music, choreography, and innovations you'll soon be bringing to your classes.

BODYATTACK™ 134

BODYATTACK™ #134 – Basketball-inspired moves, returning favorites, and a powerful finish

Presenters: Hamza Sorour, Nel Baxter, and Geena Pannett

It's game time for your legs in BODYATTACK #134, with basketball-themed choreography bringing the court to your class. Look out for the Side Step and Vertical Jump combination in Track 4, while Track 7 introduces offence and defence-inspired movements, with coach calls adding to the fun.

“Track 7 can take some scripting and practice if you're teaching solo to nail clear coaching that lands well,” advises Geena.

The Stomp Lunge returns in Track 5 for the first time since BODYATTACK #108, while Track 9 brings back Skaters for a demanding finisher. “It's simple and effective, and it has more of a short, sharp effort focus,” says Geena, contrasting it with the endurance-based challenges of recent releases.

And don't overlook Track 8. “The song is really emotional, with beautiful lyrics and meaning behind it, which adds a completely different feeling to the workout,” says Hamza.

LES MILLS SPRINT™ 45

LES MILLS SPRINT #45 – British hip-hop, uplifting house, and a powerful finish

Presenters: Khiran Huston, Glen Ostergaard, and Bas Hollander

From dark, deep sounds, to lighter, uplifting moments, LES MILLS SPRINT #45 takes riders through peaks and troughs. “While the training is intense in every single track, the musical journey and variation give a really great feel to this workout,” says Bas.

One of the most interesting contrasts comes halfway through with the Tabata Track, “Big Love”.

“I love the different feel it brings,” he explains. “That light, lifted feel you almost don't expect with this intensity of training. It creates a really nice contrast with all the other tracks.”

Then comes the Power Finisher. “It's strong and very powerful,” says Bas. “Three rounds to empty the tank: 88 seconds in the first, followed by two rounds of 66 seconds. Give it everything you've got!”

LES MILLS PILATES™ 11

LES MILLS PILATES™ #11 – New moves, beautiful music, and one seriously spicy track

Presenters: Summer Bradley, Kylie Gates, and Prian Wong

“Watch out for Track 4 – she's spicy!” warns Summer. Her advice: “Keep the options friendly and inclusive, while still encouraging members to push themselves.”

There's new choreography to explore, too. Track 5 introduces the Extended Front Plank, while Track 6 features Boat Pose – a balance that Summer has found particularly useful for helping members understand the top of the Teaser movement.

Music plays a big role in carrying the participants through. Summer loves the emotional feel of Track 6, while Track 7 brings a very different energy. “I always smile teaching ‘This Is How We Do It’,” she says.

Even the cooldown has made an impression. “It's such a beautiful song – I love singing the ‘ah ah ah ah’ in this track!”

LES MILLS CORE™ 64

LES MILLS CORE™ #64 – Simple choreography, loaded combinations, and a rotation challenge

Presenters: Hamza Benbkira, Reagan Kang, Kenshin Tani, and Lunar Lu

LES MILLS CORE #64 combines simple choreography with serious intensity. “For Instructors, the simplicity makes it easier to teach with confidence,” says Kenshin. “For members, it's easy to understand.”

Reagan agrees: “Short but loaded combinations, especially in the core strength phases, take out the thinking and inject the intensity.” His standout is the Posterior Track, which he says left him aching for days!

Track 2 is a favorite for both Kenshin and Lu, with progressive movements and opportunities to coach different levels. “Members will really feel the challenge of the core and coordination,” says Lu.

Look out for the Offset Chest Twist in Track 3. “It's an authentic move we can train to improve our rotation power,” explains Lu. “When we add the Plate Press, it challenges the core to control and stabilize.”

And don't underestimate the Offset Squat in Track 4. “You'll find yourself asking, ‘Why is this so hard when I'm barely moving?!’” laughs Kenshin.

BODYBALANCE™ 114

BODYBALANCE #114 – Crocodiles, core challenges, and emotional melodies

Presenters: Eileen Post, Thanh Phuong, Prian Wong, and Dannielle Lally

BODYBALANCE #114 delivers a particularly emotional musical journey, with Standing Strength and Hips among Dannielle's favorites. “It took all my will not to sing,” she laughs. “Both belting tracks!”

One movement to look out for is the return of the Crocodile in the Back Track. A familiar feature of Sun Salutations, it provides an opportunity to refine technique and get more repetitions of this challenging move.

Track 5 Core Abs is another standout, with straight-leg options for the Single-Leg Stretch and a Hover with alternating knee drops. “Your abs will scream – in a good way!” says Thanh.

But it's the music that leaves the deepest impression. “Some of the songs really moved me emotionally – there were moments when I actually felt like crying,” admits Thanh. “Track 8's ‘Treasure Everything’ reminded me not to take anything for granted.”

Could you be presenting Les Mills programs on stage one day?

Why not? Most Presenters started as members in the classes they loved.

You don't need to fit a certain mold, be a professional athlete, or have a perfect fitness background. You need passion, energy, authenticity, and the desire to make a difference.

Les Mills training gives you the tools to bring out your unique qualities, personality, and story, helping you develop the skills, confidence, and coaching ability to inspire a room.

Whether you want to teach alongside your existing career, nurture a new passion into your life's work, or develop skills that open new opportunities, it all starts with one click.

LES MILLS TONE™ 35

LES MILLS TONE™ #35 – A Lula-created move and blast-it-in-your-car good music

Presenters: Khiran Huston, Vili Fifita, and Lula Slaughter

There's a particularly special moment for Lula in LES MILLS TONE #35: a Single-Arm Overhead Plate Carry that she helped create has made it into the final release.

“I see people doing this exact movement all the time in the gym with kettlebells,” she says. “So it feels great to see it translated into LES MILLS TONE.”

The workout challenges cardio, strength, coordination, and balance, but Lula singles out Peak 3 as the track to watch.

“It features a burpee to a Lateral Plate Jump, and even the Squat Jump-level option is tough,” she explains. “I love how all the levels challenge everyone's physical fitness.”

And the soundtrack? “Genuinely blast-it-in-your-car good!”

BODYPUMP HEAVY™ 6

BODYPUMP HEAVY™ #6 – Game-changing Deadlifts, slow tempos, and heavy lifting

Presenters: Levi Farrell, Geena Pannett, Reagan Kang, Lisa Osborne, Marlon Woods, Bas Hollander, and Kaylah-Blayr Fitzsimons-Nu'u

BODYPUMP HEAVY #6 introduces the Mixed Grip Deadlift for the first time in Track 2, helping manage forearm fatigue when lifting heavier weights. “A game-changer for lifting heavy in both the Deadlifts and Cleans!” says Geena. The track also features super-slow Deadlifts, increasing time under tension early in the workout.

Track 5 introduces the Lying Overhead Barbell Triceps Extension, while Track 6 features a wide-tempo Deadrow and a new tempo for the Strict Shoulder Press. “Keep an eye on the timing of the Deadrow and Shoulder Press,” advises Geena. “They have pauses that are incredibly important to nail clear coaching on.”

Lisa highlights a soundtrack mixing old favorites with newer sounds. “I love blues and rock – it's my go-to when I'm training in the gym!” She also describes the uplifting beat of “Miracle” as a perfect way to finish the class.

For KB, the Chest/Hip Thrust Track is a personal favorite. “I feel strong in the Chest Press and Hip Thrust, so I'm proud of the weight I have on the bar,” she says. “The 1/6 tempo is also super humbling!”

BODYPUMP HEAVY: What are the Presenters saying?

“Strength training is so on trend, and the physical and mental benefits are phenomenal,” says Geena. “Nothing beats seeing that progression when people understand what they're actually capable of lifting.”

For KB, it's personal. “I've loved being able to take my own lifting in personal training and bring that into BODYPUMP HEAVY. I feel confident teaching it because I actively practice it outside of class.”

As one of the fastest-growing Les Mills programs, BODYPUMP HEAVY continues to evolve, with Instructor and member feedback helping shape the coaching, music, and overall feel.

For KB, one of the biggest rewards is seeing members discover their strength. “You get to know what your members usually lift, so when you notice them taking that step to try heavier, it's really cool!”

BODYSTEP™ 145

BODYSTEP #145 – ‘Push Play and Go’, fresh moves, and heavier weights

Presenters: Kaylah-Blayr Fitzsimons-Nu'u, Siobhan Ozanne, and Nel Baxter

“I've been teaching BODYSTEP for 20 years, and this just felt so brand new and fresh!” says Shiv. “This release introduces the ‘Push Play and Go’ format, meaning Instructors no longer need to pause and restart the music, creating a seamless experience.”

There's plenty of fresh choreography to explore, including a squat and lateral lunge combination in Tracks 1 and 5, a new Crescent Lunge in Track 10, plus a burpee variation in Track 9 designed to build members' confidence.

There's also an opportunity to lift heavier. “We use the 7.5kg weights, and there are even times you can use the 10kg!” says Nel.

Track 6 brings its own challenge. “You really feel the fatigue when doing the continuous knees into the two Hip Extensions and six Jogs,” says KB.

And watch out for Peak 2, says Shiv. “Nel and I kept racing ahead of the music during filming. The feedback was: ‘SLOW DOWN!’ But the physicality of this track will have you gasping – in the best way!”

LES MILLS DANCE™ 14

LES MILLS DANCE™ #14 – Soca rhythms, big drops, and a serious leg workout

Presenters: Meno Thomas, Bianca Ikinofo, Dannielle Lally, Chin Chen, and Sebastian Jaramillo

There's a fresh mix of musical genres in LES MILLS DANCE #14, including soca in Track 8. “As soon as you play that song, your body just moves on its own,” says Sebastian. “Look at those arms in the last set – it's a vibe!”

But don't let the party atmosphere fool you. “Track 4 is a tough one for the legs – it absolutely feels like training, but in the best way,” says Bianca. Track 6 brings another challenge, moving from pulses into big, dynamic jumps that send the heart rate soaring.

Sebastian also has a soft spot for Track 9. “You know this song! You've danced to it in the best clubs all over the world, plus the choreography is 100% cardio!”

And Bianca has an unexpected favorite: the cooldown. “It's got fun grooves to bring the heart rate down, and you can just make it your own.”

BODYCOMBAT™ 109

BODYCOMBAT™ #109 – Authentic boxing, capoeira, and a serious kickboxing challenge

Presenters: Dan Cohen, Rachael Newsham, Vili Fifita, Kenshin Tani, Chin Chen, Siobhan Ozanne, Marlon Woods, and Sebastian Jaramillo

BODYCOMBAT #109 introduces a new punch combination in Track 8 that links defensive and offensive movements. “It gives you that authentic fighting feeling,” says Kenshin, who loves how the music encourages members to shift up a gear.

Track 5 features challenging kickboxing combinations and a Jump Tuck to finish the sets. “There are always two more combos – hahaha!” laughs Sebastian. “I had to keep reminding myself of this when I was teaching so I wouldn't forget.”

Track 6 brings a playful change of mood with its capoeira choreography and “Pinky Up” soundtrack. But don't overlook Track 3: “It had my shoulders in BITS!” warns Shiv.

Rach highlights the workout's flexibility: “It's a well-rounded, achievable workout that can be dialed up or down to suit whoever needs it that day.” And for the second half? “The music does all the motivating for them!”

LES MILLS GRIT™ 58

LES MILLS GRIT™ #58 (Cardio, Strength, and Athletic) – Surprise Tabata, Pyramid Down, and explosive energy

Presenters: Kenshin Tani (Cardio), Bas Hollander (Strength), Erin Maw (Cardio and Strength), Ben Main (Strength and Athletic), and Nel Baxter (Cardio)

Just when you think you've found your rhythm in LES MILLS GRIT #58, the workouts throw in a surprise.

“There's a Tabata in GRIT Cardio, and what I love most is when it appears,” laughs Kenshin. “You'll probably think, ‘Tabata? NOW?!’ But the music has so much momentum that somehow, it makes you want to go for it anyway.”

And the challenge doesn't end there. “Having to Pyramid Down after the Tabata surprise in the middle of the workout gets some gasps!” says Erin.

The soundtrack delivers plenty of motivation, too. Erin singles out the remix of “Breath” by R3SPAWN in Strength, along with the huge drop in Cardio's B2B2B.

“The music is fire!”

LES MILLS GRIT: Why Simpler Doesn't Mean Easier

You may have noticed a simpler structure in LES MILLS GRIT over the past few releases. Erin and Kenshin explain why.

“Instructors spend less time learning and refreshing choreography, allowing for more focus on the coaching element, and members feel more confident because the movement patterns are simple and familiar,” explains Erin.

But simpler doesn't mean easier, according to Kenshin. “The simple structure means they don't get lost in the workout. They understand what they need to do and can keep pushing harder all the way to the finish line.”

BODYPUMP™ 139

BODYPUMP™ #139 – Rave nostalgia, returning moves, and a demanding Chest Track

Presenters: Marlon Woods, Glen Ostergaard, Hamza Souror, Lunar Lu, Reagan Kang, Lula Slaughter, and Ben Main

BODYPUMP #139 brings a party atmosphere to the studio, with nostalgic tracks given a fresh spin. “The room is going to feel like they're in a rave or concert,” says Reagan, who has a special connection to Track 2. “It was one of the first tracks I experienced with Les Mills, and it brought back so many memories of when I was starting out.”

Hamza advises Instructors to look out for Track 3, the Chest Track, which features frequent changes in tempo and musical structure that can make the choreography tricky to follow.

Track 8, the Shoulder Track, is one to watch, with the return of the Rotator Raise and Side Rotation bringing an additional strength and stability challenge. And there's plenty of energy, too. “It brings such a strong party vibe,” says Hamza. “It really lifts the energy in the room and makes you want to challenge yourself – maybe even add another kilo or two!”

LES MILLS SHAPES™ 17

LES MILLS SHAPES #17 – Anti-rotation, returning favorites, and a dream playlist

Presenters: Erin Maw, Eileen Post, and Bianca Ikinofo

“I've tried to get more Jamie xx into SHAPES for years, and we finally got ‘Baddy On The Floor’!” says Erin, about a soundtrack that also features O'Flynn, Barry Can't Swim, and John Summit.

There's plenty happening in the choreography, too. The Pike returns in the Strength series with a twist, alongside the Pretzel for glutes and the Yoga Pushup. The Standing series introduces Split Squats and new directional changes.

Anti-rotation is a central coaching theme, with the Core series providing a particularly demanding stability challenge. “Slower tempos, more time under tension, and asymmetric loading make it a spicy stability challenge,” explains Erin. She recommends paying close attention to pacing, mindful control, and regressions as fatigue builds.

For Erin, it's the combination of music and movement that makes this release special. “Every track flows, nothing feels out of place,” she says. “It's a sophisticated, easy-to-deliver class.”

RPM™ 112

RPM™ #112 – Nostalgic throwbacks and a ride full of feeling

Presenters: Glen Ostergaard, Bas Hollander, Hamza Benbkira, and Amy Lu

“Nostalgia +++!” That's how Amy describes the soundtrack to RPM #112, with plenty of musical throwbacks designed to bring the room together – including “Return of the Mack”.

Track 6 is a particular favorite. “It's got that classic RPM sound of hope, and it feels so good riding it together,” says Amy, who also gives Track 2 a special mention.

The choreography is deliberately straightforward, allowing Instructors to concentrate on the ride itself. Amy emphasizes the importance of precise pre-cueing so members can follow the changes without losing their connection to the music.

“If we focus on teaching to the choreography and pre-cueing super well, the feeling of the music and ride shines through,” she explains.

And with a soundtrack like this, the music deserves its moment in the spotlight.

LES MILLS THE TRIP™ 47

THE TRIP™ #47 – Disco vibes, Free Speed, and a journey through France

Presenter: Chris Richardson

THE TRIP #47 takes riders from the streets of Paris to the South of France, with a soundtrack packed with groove, nostalgia, and energy. The choreography moves between Free Speed, fast riding, and strong climbs, with plenty of opportunities for riders to make the experience their own.

Free Speed features prominently in the opening City Track, where riders can choose to ride on or under the beat. The release focus, “Your experience, our ride,” encourages Instructors to bring hype to the climbs and energy to the speed phases, while allowing the music and visuals to do the work.

“There are moments when the release asks us to go, and other times to let go,” says Chris. “The skill is recognizing what each moment needs from us.”

As Chris puts it: “Great coaching enhances the experience, it never competes with it.”
