LISA OSBORNE: WE ASKED, SHE ANSWERED

She’s an international fitness professional and busy mom who seems to ooze energy and positivity around the clock. Here’s where you can find out what keeps Lisa Osborne buzzing.

If you could choose one person to work out with, who would it be and why?

It would have to be two of my fellow Les Mills colleagues together – Les Mills Jnr and Ben Main. I think I could lift more weight than them, laugh and work hard at the same time.

What’s your favorite workout routine?

BODYATTACK™ of course! But second to that I like gymnastics.

What does a cheat day look like for you?

Cadbury’s milk chocolate, a burger and a chocolate shake – that’s my ideal Friday night.

If you had to choose your last meal, what would it be?

It would have to be eggs. My son Jackson makes me the BEST scrambled eggs with avocado – and soooooo much love.

How do you relax, de-stress and chill out?

My favorite way to relax is to watch a movie on the couch. I usually see the start, fall asleep in the middle and then wake for the ending – it’s the perfect use of time.

If you could change one thing about your appearance, what would it be?

Seriously – nothing. I am what I am and that’s what makes me me.

What characteristic do you most admire in other people?

I love people who are kind, helpful and thankful. People who inspire others to be good, and who help others to feel good.

Name the last book you read, the last movie you watched, and track you currently have on high rotate.

The last book I read was First by Rich Froning. The last movie I watched was Paddington. The track I currently have on high rotate is Hall of Fame by The Script – Hunter, my 6 year-old, and I love this!

What social media can’t you live without? Favorite feeds?

I love Instagram because it’s quick, fun and constantly changing. I don’t have one favorite feed. I just love seeing posts that show what different fitness leaders are doing, and how Les Mills people all over the planet are training and inspiring others.

If you could have one superpower, what would you choose?

Teleportation would be amazing. I could travel the world to all the Les Mills events, inspire more people faster – and then be back with my family for dinner, school pickups and snuggles.

What’s the best non-physical thing about staying in shape?

It just makes me feel so happy inside – and I get to be surrounded with like-minded people all of the time.

Who should play you in the movie based on your life?

Reese Witherspoon – I love her! Or perhaps a female Benjamin Button who could get younger every day.

As the BODYATTACK Program Director and the BODYSTEP™ Creative Director, Lisa Osborne shapes the development of new workouts every three months. And, when she’s not selecting music and choreographing new moves, she’s traveling the world, educating and inspiring fellow fitness fans at Les Mills events all over the planet.
