HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

1. GETTING THE GAME

  • Where do I get it?
    The game is available on the Oculus Quest platform only. Game must be purchased via the Oculus store and a Quest 2 VR headset is needed to play the game. Go to www.oculus.com and search for BODYCOMBAT.

  • Is it connected to LES MILLS+?
    The game is a standalone product and is not connected to gym membership, IX certification, or LES MILLS+ subscription.

2. WHAT DO I NEED TO PREPARE

  • Do I have to be in high physical condition to use BODYCOMBAT?
    No, BODYCOMBAT has been designed for everyone. If you are a beginner you can start with the basic sessions and increase the difficulty as your fitness progresses.

  • Do I have to warm up or prepare anything before starting my BODYCOMBAT session?
    Yes, you should warm up before the session and you should stretch once you have finished. Our coaches Dan and Rachel will give you useful tips for this. Also make sure to clear the training area, wear comfortable clothes and keep a bottle of water nearby - hydration is very important!

  • Do I need a big room to play BODYCOMBAT?
    You'll need a safe and unobstructed space measuring at least 2 by 2 meters.

  • Can I play BODYCOMBAT on Quest 1? What about PSVR and PCVR?
    BODYCOMBAT does not support Meta Quest 1 due to some performance issues. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

    BODYCOMBAT will arrive to other VR platforms in the future but right now we can’t provide an ETA for the porting.

3. GAMEPLAY

  • How do I hit the targets with the knee?
    Grab the target with your hands and pull the target down fast at the end of the trail while you hit it with the knee in a powerful move. The pull-down movement has to be fast and the target has to be below your waist, if you move the target too slow or if it does not go low enough the hit will fail. Please watch Rachael’s tutorials in-game as a reference.

  • Why do the targets have different colors?
    You have to hit each target with the hand of the corresponding color.

  • Will there be a subscription model in the future? What will happen to the base content of the game?
    We are exploring all the possibilities to offer new quality content that meets the needs of all fitness enthusiasts. We do not rule out designing a subscription model but we are also considering the possibility of adding DLCs in the future. In any case, users who buy LES MILLS BODYCOMBAT now will keep the base content forever and will receive several free updates over time.

  • What is a GOAL?
    This is your training plan. You set the number of days you want to do fitness per week. Now you have to accomplish that GOAL!

  • What is a STREAK?
    A STREAK is the number of weeks in a row you have been meeting your GOALS.

  • How can I win medals?
    Achieving your goals will reward you with medals that will be added to your inventory. This is how it works:

    Bronze Medal: You have met your goal 1-2 times this week.

    Silver Medal: You have met your goal 3-5 times this week.

    Gold Medal: You have met your goal 6-7 times this week.

  • How can I see my stats?
    Your stats are visible in the left side of the main menu.

  • What is the evolution graph?
    The evolution graph shows your different scores in a particular session.

  • What is the power graph?
    The power graph shows the force you have performed in each movement, taking as a reference the maximum force.

  • What are the 2 sessions that appear at the top of the main menu?
    These are the 2 recommended sessions for you right now.
  • How does the referral algorithm work?
    The system always chooses 2 recommended sessions for you. These sessions are chosen based on:

    ● How you have performed in your last sessions.
    ● The feeling you have transmitted in your last sessions.
    ● Bear in mind: if you repeat too many sessions, the algorithm results won’t be very amusing.

  • How can I 'favorite' a workout?
    To tag a favorite workout simply click on the star flag located at the top right corner of that workout.
